Export settings
Customize which columns are included in your data exports for each property type.
Overview
The Export Settings screen gives you granular control over the data you export. Here, you can customize the columns included in your export files for each property type, ensuring you only get the data you need.

plan Requirements
Customizing export settings is available on the Basic plan and above. Users on the Free plan will need to upgrade to access these features.
Custom Settings vs. Export templates
You have two ways to control your export's structure on this screen:
- Direct Customization: Manually select and arrange columns directly on this page for a specific property type (e.g., "Properties for sale").
- Using an Export Template: Select a pre-configured template from the dropdown. This replaces the current settings with the template's settings.
Which one should I use?
If you frequently use the same column layout for multiple property types or want to easily switch between different export formats, Export templates are the most efficient option. For one-off adjustments, direct customization is ideal.
How to Configure Your Export
The settings are managed on a per-category basis.
1. Select a Property Type
In the left sidebar, choose the property type you want to configure, such as Properties for sale, Rental properties, or Sold properties. The settings you apply will only affect exports for that specific category.
2. Choose Your Configuration Method
- To use a template, select it from the Export templates dropdown at the top.
- To customize directly, leave the dropdown on Do not use a template and proceed below.
3. Adjust Custom Export Settings
These settings only apply when you are not using a template.
-
Remove empty columns: Enable this toggle to automatically remove any column from the final exported file that contains no data. This helps keep your spreadsheets clean.
-
Available columns: This is the master list of all possible data fields you can export. Browse or search for columns and click on them to add them to your selection.
-
Selected columns: This area shows the columns that will be in your final export file. You can:
- Reorder columns: Drag and drop columns using the handle to change their order in the spreadsheet.
- Remove columns: Click the
Xicon on a column to remove it from your selection. - Search and Sort: Use the search bar and sort options to easily manage your selected columns.
4. Save Your Settings
Once you've configured your settings, click the button at the bottom to save. Your export settings will be applied the next time you export data for that property type.
