Unfortunately Property Data Labs stops working sometimes. This is because Zillow changes their website from time to time. When this happens, Property Data Labs needs to be updated to work again.
There is not much that can be done to prevent this but I believe that it is important to be transparent about this. By giving you information regarding the status of Property Data Labs, it can help you diagnose any issues you may be having.
If you see that the status is not green, then you know that there is an issue with Property Data Labs. You can then check back later to see if the issue has been resolved.
If you see that the status is green, then you know that Property Data Labs is working as expected and that maybe you simply need to follow the troubleshooting steps.
How to know if Zillow Data Exporter is working?
In the latest version of the extension, there is a new status tab that shows you the status of Property Data Labs.
You can access this page by clicking on the Extension Status tab in the side bar of the extension.

In the picture above, you can see how many open issues there are. If there are no open issues, then you will see a green check mark.
In this tab you can also see the status of the issue. If the issue has a status of Open that means that the issue has just been reported.
When the status is In Progress, that means that the issue is being worked on. When the status is Resolved, that means that the issue has been fixed.
Transparency
I believe that transparency is important. I want to be transparent about the status of Property Data Labs so that you can know exactly what is happening with your exports.
